Will be interesting to see how they change things next year when they move the halls around. An exhibitor told me that Rolex will have 40% more space next year (although it will only be two floors rather than the current three). I didn’t think it was possible for them to have a bigger stand. Apparently the fish tank is going too. Did you know that they close the Hall of Dreams after the show and only open it for the next show? The current Hall 4 is literally only used for Baselworld ! Not sure if this will change at the show next year.

I think it is important for every country to ensure that they are able to grow a variety of foods. I think it would all do us well if we all started to support our local farmers and eat more local food, where ever we may live. Besides being good for the environment, it is good for food security and diversification!

Nice post, Susan. Coincidentally, I was at the British-Swiss Chamber of Commerce stammtisch last night at Im Viadukt, and it’s really nice.

Your article captures the flavor of it. Michael Jones was also providing lots of British cheese, as well!
